How a Richmond Hill pottery guild became an international story.

The Hill Potters’ Guild has been around for 60 years, and they needed to introduce pottery to a whole new audience. We came up with and directed a concept that played on the surprising similarities between pottery and sex. The anticipation, the tension, the satisfaction of getting your hands dirty while creating something new. From there, we took the idea one step further: to OnlyFans. Using the language and feel of steamy creator content, we gave pottery a playful, provocative twist and got people looking at the craft in a completely different way.
